I can remember only one great leader and I worked for him a long, long time ago. Bill Holmes had all the qualities that you listed here and then some. All of us on his team would go up any mountain for him. We worked 60 hours or more a week, just because we wanted to be with him and do whatever he needed. We had fun every single day even if the work was hard. I sometimes wonder why there aren't more Bill Holmes. I have worked for many bosses.
